Neurotoxin injections such as Botox & Jeuveau (Newtox) relax the muscles that cause wrinkles, diminishing fine lines, wrinkles, excessive sweating, neck bands, and more. Typically last 3-4 months. 

Fillers – a variety of hyaluronic acid fillers are offered, including the Juvederm family of fillers and Revanesse Versa. Fillers can instantly improve facial volume and shape, filling in laugh lines, enhance the shape and/or texture of the lips, restore lost volume in the cheeks, lips, and other areas needing enhancement. Effects can last up to 24 months. 

Botox

FDA approved Botox is used for the treatment of temporary smoothing of facial wrinkles including glabellar wrinkles, crow’s feet and horizontal forehead lines and improving your appearance and severe underarm sweating. It decreases the size and appearance of wrinkles and facial creases instantly to help you look younger and feel your best. It can also be used to treat TMJ, headaches and gummy smiles. It is usually performed on the forehead, around the eyes, or frown lines. Botox doesn’t require anesthesia and generally takes 10 minutes to administer. Once applied, it can take up to a week to take full effect and can last from 4 to 6 months. With repeated treatment, it will train your muscles to relax so that any facial lines will appear smoother.

Voluma

It is FDA approved filler that’s part of the Juvederm collection of injectable. It is designed to be used specifically in the mid-face, adding volume to the cheeks. Voluma is made with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin.

With dermal fillers, we are able to help enhance your look by decreasing wrinkle or furrow lines and creating a softer appearance. By injecting dermal fillers, we are able to provide you with the necessary volume and support needed to diminish signs of aging so that you can enjoy a plump and youthful appearance. Treatment takes about 15 minutes to complete, though a numbing cream may be applied before the procedure for 20 – 25 minutes. Once you received treatment, it can take up to a week to take full effect and experience minimal downtime.

Vollure

Vollure is injectable filler in the Juvederm collection. It gained FDA approval in the United States in 2017 as Vollure. Vollure, also known as Volift in Europe, is a hyaluronic acid filler primarily used for smoothing nasolabial folds around your mouth. Like other fillers in the Juvederm collection, Vollure uses Vycross technology, allowing it to produce long-lasting results up to 18 months.

Volbella

A member of the Juvéderm family of products, Volbella is an FDA-approved injection used to increase lip fullness and soften the appearance of "smoker's lines" around the mouth. It may also be used to fill pitted acne scarring in the face. Unlike other fillers, Volbella blends different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, which allows it to create subtle volume that lasts for up to a year.

Juvederm Volbella uses a new, patented hyaluronic acid (HA) formula developed by the product’s manufacturer Allergan. Called Vycross, it is a proprietary technology that reduces the filler’s water absorption, which means less swelling than other HA products without this revolutionary technology.

What is the difference between Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella and Vollure?

Different fillers have different makeup to them and Voluma is going to be a thicker product because we use it for more bone structural loss. Therefore it will last a bit longer….18 months on average. Juvederm is finer filler than Voluma and there is still longevity with it, probably about a year or so. Volbella is even finer filler that still has that one year duration to it as well. Vollure combines a “happy medium” of durability and spread ability to treat nasolabial folds while allowing for natural facial expressions and movements which lasts around 18 months.

You might need a combination of all the fillers we’ve discussed. Sometimes you might want a bit of a cheek enhancement or a lip enhancement. Or maybe you have some fine lines that need finer filler…all the fillers can be used in combination. That is kind of the artistic nature of our job.”

So Juvederm is used commonly in the lips for lip augmentation, Voluma is more for the mid-face area, and Volbella is for the fine lines around the mouth and can be used in the lips for subtle augmentation as well. Vollure adds subtle volume to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

Revanesse® Versa™

What is Revanesse® Versa™?

Revanesse® Versa™ is an injectable dermal filler containing hyaluronic acid, designed to soften and correct fine lines and wrinkles in the face by adding volume and restoring hydration. The treatment helps rejuvenate your facial appearance, giving you a glowing, more youthful look.

Hyaluronic acid is a chain of sugars produced naturally in the body and its purpose is to aid skin hydration by binding to water. How Does Revanesse® Versa™ Work?

During your initial consultation with Charu, she will discuss all the options available for you and help you determine if Revanesse® Versa™ is the best choice for you, based on your medical history and unique aesthetic goals.

If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, injectable dermal fillers should not be used. They should be avoided if you’re on or have recently used blood thinners or have any bleeding disorder issues. Caution is also advised if you’ve experienced an allergic reaction from dermal fillers in the past that required hospital admission.

BEFORE YOUR INJECTION TREATMENT:

* Do Not: Take Aspirin, St. John’s wort, Fish Oil, Vitamin E, drink tons of alcoholic beverages, and use any other blood-thinning substances for 5x days before your treatment. (These are all anti-coagulators, and will increase likelihood of bruising and bleeding at the injection site.)
* Do Not: Schedule your treatment within 3-weeks of any big-event. (Anytime the skin is being broken, there is a chance for bruising or swelling. Please make sure to give your body plenty of healing time before an event in case this occurs.)
* Do: Tell us if you have previously suffered from facial cold sores. (We can prescribe a medication to minimize chance of a break-out.)

AFTER YOUR INJECTION TREATMENT:

* Do: Use cold compresses to reduce swelling or bruising, but…
* DO NOT: Apply a lot of pressure when using your compress against your skin.
* Do: Try to avoid touching the treated area for the first six hours following treatment
* Do: Avoid intense heat (sun lamp or sunbathing)
* Do: Make sure to stay hydrated and drink lots of water, this will help everything work to it’s full capacity.
* Do: For Botox, make a lot of exaggerated facial expressions to make sure the product has integrated into the muscle.
* Do Not: For Botox, do not lie down for at least 4-hours after treatment.
* Do: For dermal-filler injections, try to add an extra-pillow before you go to bed. The elevation can help prevent swelling.
* Do Not: For dermal-filler injections, try to avoid sleeping on your side for the first 3-4x days after treatment. (You do not want the weight of your head to potentially flatten any volume enhancement.)
* Do: Remember to ask about follow-up appointments!
