In order to keep healthcare costs down, we ask for payment at the time of your visit.  For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  We also offer you the opportunity to apply for Care Credit, a medical credit card accepted in our office.

Fees

Fees for normal obstetric care include prenatal visits, vaginal or Caesarean Section delivery, a two week post-partum visit, and a six week post-partum visit.  Extra charges will be assessed for ultrasounds, Pap Smears, and any other necessary lab work.

Surgical fees include surgery, physician hospital visits, and up to 2 follow-up office visits.  There will be additional fees for any necessary lab work.  This may vary with each individual insurance policy.  Your hospital or other service providers will bill you separately.

Circumcisions on newborns will be performed within the first week of birth in our office.  The fee for this service is $240.00 and is payable at the time of service.  Cash or credit cards will be accepted for this service, and checks will not be accepted.  Insurance will be filed, and you will be reimbursed any money due back to you from this service.

It will be necessary to make payment arrangements with our billing department before these services are performed.

Insurance Claims

As a courtesy, we will generate a claim to your insurance company on your behalf.  Hancock Women's Center is a provider for most major insurance companies.  Please keep in mind that insurance is a method for patients to be reimbursed for their medical services.  Your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance company, and we are not a party to that contract.  If an insurance company has not paid within 90 days, the balance will automatically become your responsibility.  All co-pays and deductibles are due when services are rendered.
